All but two of my close female friends were at one point much closer, and at least one of em doesn't need to be asked twice, should I be so inclined. That's part of the reason I broke up with her; we took some time off, and during that time another friend didn't even have to ask  . But I digress.
Best friends make best lovers. Having said that, I don't think anyone would be incredibly flattered to be a booty call in so many words, even if they'd be flattered to be propositioned. |

I would say more often than not, sexual attraction is an issue. I generally do not make friends with ugly chicks, and if I am friends with a hot chick, I will likely be attracted to her. But there are exceptions. I have a friend who is seeing someone, but she is still very important to me even though I do not ever plan on making a move. We've been through a lot, and I care about her a great deal. For friendship, and only friendship, I suppose I prefer guys. I love having a lot of female friends, but sometimes it is either to get with them, or meet their hot friends. |

As a potential target? Not my close female friends. I mean, if we were to get really really drunk and something happened I wouldn't complain, but I wouldn't actively proposition them.

I value them as friends. Some are close, some are distant. Some I trust completely, some I hardly trust at all. A few I wouldn't mind being physically affectionate with, but I wouldn't want to be affectionate with them if they weren't my friends.
