I don't like to go to bed and I don't like to wake up. That leaves me with about six and a half hours,,but when I don't have to get up in the morning,,,I will sleep ten hours

Weekdays, I function on a maximum of 6 hours, any more and I feel tired. But, on the weekends I have been known to sleep a few more.

I average 7 hours and 17 minutes over the last 141 nights.

Weekdays are closer to 7 and weekends are 7-9.

6-7 is actually where I fall in. I always wake up refreshed and ready to go so I figure it's the perfect amount for me.

During college (I graduated in May) I got anywhere between 9 and 11 hours. Night classes rock.

However, now that I have a regular 8-5 job, I get around 7 hours of sleep, sometimes 6 and a half. It sucks not getting that much sleep, but I feel like I have no "me time" if I go to bed early.

I get about 5 hours during the week. Over the weekend it depends what I have going on. I like to catch up on some sleep Saturday morning if possible.

Lately I have been feeling pretty tired though, so I'm going to try and fit more sleep in during the week.

I get about 6 - 7 hours a night, but I know my body and mind craves > 8. If I get too little sleep, I'll feel it throughout the next day. Ideally, I'd like to catch up on sleep during the weekends, but my body is so used to waking up at a certain time that I can't quite take advantage.

... then the whole week starts again.

Generally 9 to 11 hours during the week. Either about the same on the weekends, or a lot less.

So something that my cousin told me was that the sleep paterns that you develop in your young adult life (18-25ish) are the ones that will stick with your for most of your life until you start getting older and more tired and naturally require more sleep.

Have any of you noticed this? I might be needing to change things up a bit if it is. I don't want to end up tired all the time.
