Any longer and I would need to call a doctor. I think it was a breast cancer benefit. Sounds more like a colon cancer benefit to me. |

I could make it to the point where he does the echo himself. That's saddeningly funny.

The secondary problem is that there isn't anyone taking the lead in leading the band. The drummer is such a wuss and seems to be following everyone else. Everyone else seems to be following everyone else. Wrong wrong wrong! If the drummer had been a little more forceful in his kick/snare metronome with some proper accenting, the others might have followed him. Definitely a case of the musically blind leading the musically blind ... or maybe 'bland' is the right word in that phrase.
It is what it is ... and what it is, is horrendous. Descending from soapbox ........ now!

I, for one, was impressed. Or maybe what it was is that the rest of the band just happened to be following him at that precise moment. lol
It's really easy to spot with a band like this that they are ALL in their own head space musically and just not experienced enough to actually open their ears to hear what is going on around them. I hope they all continue doing what they love and leave the music playing to other people. I kid, I kid. I hope they all continue playing music and one day/month/year, that light bulb will blink ON like it does for all of us and they come to realize what it takes to actually play properly with others.
If I was there for that musical train-wreck, I would have been SO tempted to yell at the stage, "Play something you know!"
Actually, if I was there, I would have listened to the first couple of bars and then headed straight for the nearest one.

My cover band does that song and it's absolutely true that if it's not nailed down tightly by the drummer, it's going to lose all cohesion. Let's face it, the singer sucked, but at least if they had been tighter, it wouldnt have been so bad.

I'd easily listen to the first band's entire concert before trying to make it through one song of *this!* |

For this band, now that they've hit bottom, they can really only move up on forward.

EDIT: Please tell me this is some kind of staged presentation. It's all a big joke right? Ha ha right? Right?

And when it ended, you do hear a little applause, the camera pulls back and you see an empty parking lot---nobody within 30 feet of the stage! The listeners you hear must have been at a nearby bus stop and gave "a-pity-plause".
I did, however, appreciate the singer having his sunglasses on top of his head to achieve that "total look".
Now excuse me while I dig out a bunch of sh*t that somehow got in my ears.
