How to reset my Sony Walkman?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey, I have a Sony E series walkman. After adjusting the gain settings in the test menu, I was using the player and it crashed when I selected the radio.

Will the pin-hole reset button on the back delete all my files? None of the buttons will respond...

Thanks

The biggest problem I used to have was my walkman would eat my tapes.

I would refer to your owner's manual, or find it online.

Not the old-school cassette Walkmans MP3 player type, I've sorted it anyway

Ha! My first thought when I saw the title... Fresh batteries, soft que-tip and 90% alcohol to wipe the head clean, acetone / rubber renew / sandpaper on the rollers, perhaps hit the battery contacts with a pencil eraser. Sorry OP... and um, thanks!

Edit:Tip to avoid that wow and flutter or what I came to refer to as "post production": don't leave your tapes on your cracked hot vinyl dash in the sun.

Awesome scene from a superbly fun movie.
Just think, soon we will closing in on 2015. 30 years after 1985.

Where are the hover-boards, and the flying cars?

Awesome, ask if she has the problem that mine had. The volume was horribly low. If she has the problem, I have the solution and it's not just taking the AVLS limiter off. Mine is now the same volume as an Ipod on full throttle, at 14/30 on the Sony's scale
