How to stop illegal immigration into the U.S.

This is a continuation of another thread. I feel this is important.

Most of this problem is caused by the government itself because of inaction about a problem they knew about for a looooong time. Why didn't they do anything? Because the f'ing politicians don't really care about this country, they care about getting re elected. So, none of them will put things into the works that will really work in fear of not getting the hispanic votes.

There is an easier way to keep illegals out, that doesn't involve guns or walls. very simply make them not want to be here. Make sure living here is no better than living where they came from.

Illegals should not be allowed to:

1. have a drivers licence, or even drive a car. Or use public transportation.

2. They should not be able to recieve free medical care, or even be able to buy health insurance in this country. This is whole nother issue many hospitals have had to shut down because they simply can't pay bills because of the free services they have to give out.

3. don't allow illeagal to rent or own any living spaces, houses, apartments.

4. Change the stupid law saying that if an illegal drops a baby in the U.S. it is now a U.S. citizen simply because it was born here. Any babies dropped here promptly get carted off to orphanages or family in mexico.

5. Don't allow illegals to have bank account or credit cards.

6. Don't allow illegals to own any property. Any property found in the possesion of an illegals is forfeit and actioned off.

7. Don't give out work or student visas. Work and schooling in the U.S. should be for citizens of the U.S.

8. Heavily fine any company that hires even one illegal.

9. Heavily fine anyone that pays cash to illegals for work. If found doing it more than once they should get serious jail time.

10. Make it so illegals found in the country are documented and now have 0% chance of becoming a legal citizen.

11. Make seperate jails for illegal immigrants. Don't send them back, they will just try again. Yes, it would cost lots of money. So, what the goverment spends all sorts of money on other stupid things. Have law enforcement atively card people for ID. If someone is fournd to be illegal they go straight to jail. Jail will consist of three crappy meals a day and a small cell you don't get to come out of, ever. 5-10 years, then they get a bus ride to the border. I think #11 is the best incentive for keeping illegals out.

Quite simply make it impossible for them to make a living here and for anyone to want to employ them, and for them to do even the most fundamental things. They will leave and stop coming. The only option for them would be for their families to let them sit around the house all day while they pay for their food and board, with no hope of the situation improving. Even family will kick you out after a little bit of this.

The whole problem with this countries stance against illegal immigrants is that the illegals can get all the benefits of a legal citizen and in many cases more because of all the special education programs and things of that nature. So, why not just come across illegally.

O ya, the illegal aliens who are criminals on top of it and part of gangs should be detained as enemy combatants or just executed.

This issue may be important, but it is completely out of bounds on a webforum about BASS GUITAR.

The only reason I started this one is because no one on the last one had any real solution and it veered off into BS talk about george bush and how, not wanting illegal aliens in your country makes you a racist or something.

off topic section. If MM can write thread about if you would continue your education if you got HIV........I don't think that had a lot to do with bass.

I'm not sure that this subject is political given past threads about it and other legal topics being allowed. Many threads involving legality have been deemed acceptable in OT, provided they don't spin out into politics.....which this one inevitably will do and get closed.

Why is that funny? Why should anyone who isn't an actual citizen of that country work or go to school there? All that does it take up jobs and space in schools that could go to a citizen.

Who cares what they have to say. If you are refering to the fact that the U.S. was land taken from them. It's a little late to worry about that. This thread is talking about how to solve a problem, not moan about how the indians got moved in on and trying to infer that current illegal immigration is the sam thing, it's not.
