Don't get me wrong, they're capable vehicles, just have gotten way far away from the basics.

And yeah, Chrysler, Ford, etc all made universal parts for the Jeep...but Ford put their stamp on their stuff...so if they got in aprt for repair that didnt have the ford stamp..they would not touch it.

I used to do this for a demo day.
Guys would parachute with parts of the jeep, we'd reassemble it, all jump in and roll away. We took more than 4 minutes though.
It was, my oh my, over 15 years ago. |
