Plug your ipod into your computer open it in a window, right click, select "show hidden folders". One of them will have all the music in them, but the titles will be messed up, don't worry, itunes will sort all that out, copy and paste.

...not because I got a new computer, but I did have a REAL BAD virus, it ate everything on my home computer's hard drive, including everything I had in iTunes. But, I still had it all in my iPod...couldn't figure out HOW to get everything matched up, as some stuff shows up in iTunes, but not everything...I'll have to try iamlowsound's solution, and hope...

Once again, the title might mess up a bit though, can be fixed in itunes.

I have a "trojan vundo" virus...it's malicious adware.... my computer is a loss... in a case like this, after having attempted to repair the registry, and reinstalled Windows XP already, to no avail, is it better just to reformat the drive and start over? I already migrated what I could that I purchased from iTunes, and some other stuff onto discs, and all my photos (a few gigs worth fer chrissakes) and yeah...
So would it be good to just wipe the slate clean, and start over? |

So, yeah...I migrated stuff off and Norton scanned it all as it left... what an insult to injury.
Guess what I'll be doing the next couple days... blech.
