How would my vinyl turntable sound with this??

So, I have a new vinyl turntable USB transfer version for christmas, and it sounds really great. It has an awesome needle, etc.

However, I thought of purchasing this since I can't afford a full-fledged speaker system. My question: will this be good for just playing music, or just things other than using a computer in general??

I mean if it's good to listen to music on a computer with, then wouldnt it be good to listen to with a turntable???
The guy at the store demo'd it for me and I was blown away that this system could produce the sound I heard.

Here's the link:

You could use it for that - just treat it carefully. But the drawback is that your computer speakers are unlikely to be as good as those on a full-bore stereo.

Enjoy it!

i have 2 usb tables. i ripped thousands of dollars in rare vinyl to a "vinyl only" ipod touch so i can have all my fantastic stuff you just cant get on cd. works awesome! except you have to do all the legwork (seperate tracks name them dig up album art ect) on your own, but if youre an enthusiast its way fun...painstaking but fun. plus i sat and listened to all those old records.

as for speakers go to goodwill or something similar...got a full technics rig for 60 bucks

+100.

That little Bose system will sound like crap compared to an old rack system you can pick up on craigslist for a hundred bucks.
