How would your life be different if your Parents died when you were a Child ? I dont have the proper context to answer this myself.

I'd instead have grown up in my home state of Georgia with my godparents (my aunt and uncle) and probably turned into a truly small town country bumpkin along with all my cousins. I also probably would not have become the bass player I am today. That isn't to say I wouldn't be a bassist, but because I'd be around my granddad so much more (he's the one who gave me my first bass) I'd probably be much more a country bassist than a rock and jazz bassist.

Here, I'll play for the sake of argument:

That was fun. | Ok, to expand on MM's question, let's say this happened when you were 6. Where would you end up? Do you have any family that would have taken you in? How do you think your personality would change being raised in these peoples' household? Would you have still become a bassist?

| | You can't plagiarize yourself. | | Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Elgin, IL | | | Well, I was abandoned as a baby in Korea and adopted by an American family so I can say my life would be like it is now without my biological parents.
I guess my question would be...what would my life be like if they HADN'T given me up?
I don't have the proper context to answer that.

My mother remarried two years later to a man who was pretty different from my biological father (I never really got along with my stepdad). But since I never knew my father, I don't really know. I DO know he was in the computer industry in its infancy (early 70s), so we may have had more money. Other than that, I haven't a clue. |

At 6 my parents were divorced, and I already had a step mom so she would have taken me in. I would have lived in virtual slavery as a maid. My two step sisters would laugh at me as I did all the chores and they were the apples of my evil stepmother's eye. One day an invitation to the Royal Ball would come.....oh, never mind.
