Inspired by the nutjob who keeps unsuccessfully predicting the rapture, how do you think the world is going to end?
We live in interesting times, and the possibilities are limitless. And seeing as there's nothing quite as self-absorbedly fascinating as predicting the curtain call of mankind, let's see what we've got...
Nukes - well, obviously. Any tin-pot despot with a couple of million in the bank can get some 2ndhand nukes and aim them at a neighbour. Duck and cover!
Asteroid strike - again, one of the favourites. The odds are astronomical but then again, look at the continued popularity of Nickleback.
Ecosystem/weather/climate-based meltdown - again, could happen. We've already had one ice age. NB if you feel the need to get on your soapbox about 'climate change', please take it elsewhere. This thread is for SERIOUS discussion about how we're all going to get eaten by zombies (see below).
Rapture - yes, yes. The favourite for anyone who's ever worn a sandwich board or watched Fox. Will we be smitten by the fist of an angry god? You decide.
Blown up/otherwise obliterated by uncaring aliens - deep down we all know they won't be sexy green ladies who say 'what is this earth thing called love?', a la Captain Kirk's private life.
Zombie virus - the hipster option. Thankfully they will not be able to move very fast due to their constrictively tight jeans.
General disease - government manufactured or otherwise. You can guarantee that if they discovered a dangerous flesh eating virus that could, incidentally, lower the cost of producing flatscreen TVs, you know that bad boy ain't going to be made illegal.

just the end of the age, and most likely our over consuming lifestyle.
i see America going through a slow grinding loss of buying power, and hyperinflation. then civil unrest, possible martial law
while also experiencing random weather disasters and most likely more false flag events

by martial law i mean in select areas for select periods of time only - NEVER across the board, they couldnt control that and the uprising would stomp them out for sure
