My boss is out of town and just gave me a list of stuff to do this week. I knocked about half of it out yesterday, and really can't do most of the other stuff until tomorrow... so I just came in to work today and sat here on TB most of the day... got a nice lunch... and I'm about to go home now... All for $10 an hour. I guess my only responsibility today was to make sure no one broke into the building or sign for any UPS deliveries.
Life is good .

Ill be sitting on a stage, on a chair practicing. For 8 hours.
Its a large festival in town, and when its not any concerts they need people to watch the stage if it starts raining or similar.
The pay? about 16$ / hour.

But come October is when I start lobster Fishing. On any given day I could bring in a couple hundred bucks to a couple thousand, depending on how well the fishing is this year and how in demand they are.

You're not out on the sea for weeks at a time but its still hard work. I get up everyday and go out at about 5:30 am to check pots, usually don't get done until 5 or so that night. The hours suck, but its AWESOME money. I occasionally go clamming too, which is basically digging them up out of the mud at low tide.

So is this the first time you try it out or have you done it before?

My right arm is grotesquely larger than my left from doing this since I was a kid. I'm developing a hump in my back. You guys have it made |

You guys have it made | When I was a teenager, one of the kids in the neighborhood took up forging. He ended up doing it for a career as a sculptor.
