Hp paviliion dv6000 dies quick

So i got this computer the day i graduated highschool so sometime in june 2008 . I have used it everyday since. It went through 4 terms of college allready and has been real reliable and allowed for numerous hours on Tb .

BUT

Lately the battery dies super quick, right now its plugged in as i type. When i remove the charger it goes form 100% to 93% in less then a minute. Basically this is not normal for it , it could hold a charge for hours.

Any computer savy people out there? i just need this sucker to make it through college .

Order another battery. HP Makes a high capacity battery that fits under the whole laptop.

I don't know much about laptops, but from what I understand all rechargeable batteries only have X amount of times it can be recharged.

Either that, or use it as a good excuse to buy a new laptop.

I think i will get a new battery , i could get a new lap top but i am not one to care about technology crap i would rather spend my money on a bass lol
