And yes, if we want to burden the lower middle class and starve the poor unnecessarily, our current "energy policy" is a great idea.

Let's keep with the spirit of the article, and speculate in as smug a manner as possible.

You get to ride your bike to work...
...AND you work at the beach.

Oh, and a) my Honda Element gets about 25+ in average driving, and b) my bike ride is about 20 minutes, no beach, but it don't suck at the end of the ride...

For the last several years of living in San Francisco and now New Orleans, I haven't needed a car, nor have I missed it. Now I own a tiny little Honda Civic that I get close to 40 MPG with some intelligent driving. The best part is the only time I have to drive is to gigs. Life is good.

I love Steve. I love that when it comes to religion and politics (and obviously the economy, oil, the Easter Bunny, Santa, the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow, etc.) There's two possibilities: Steve's answer, which is obviously truth based solely on his conviction... And lies. ALL LIES!!!!

San Francisco? We're lucky. We're already a walking city...
| Hello ... that's because there isn't anywhere to park!!!! If you try, you'll waste a gallon of gas just trying.
Thanks for the link ... that remindes me that I gotta fill my 17mpg Diesel with a 30 gallon tank... and drop about $0.80 more a gallon than gas.

However, if I had to interact with said sexy asian chick, I would much rather her be in a bikini than fully dressed. But of course I would prefer her to be in nothing at all. What are we talking about again? Oh yeah Lakers, someone owes me beer. |
