Hurtigruta - The World's Most Stunning Seavoyage live

Be sure to take 10 min to check this out It's quite cool.

Hurtigruten (litteral translation would be "the express route") is a passenger (some freight) route that starts in the south of Norway and has its final port to the very north near the Russia. The line is frequented by German, British, Dutch and Japanese tourists. One of its ships has been rigged with cameras, and it's being sent live from start to end.

Who called it the most beautiful sea voyage and why that's supposed to have credibility I don't know, but I honestly think it's likely to be true.

This is a live feed of the whole journey (takes some 5 days), from Bergen in the south to Kirkenes in the north (possible to look at previous parts of course:

Hurtigruten: Minutt for minutt - as of right now it's about halfway through the entire journey, so lots of good stuff to look at.

Alternatively in English: Hurtigruten: Minute by minute - I don't seem to get that page to work. For translation from this post to English, dager=days, timer=hours, minutter=minutes, just to state the semi-obvious.

The most memorable parts so far: Find these times/dates in video window

1. Geirangerfjorden: Fri Jun 17 around 13 o'clock, 13:04:00 takes you into a nice waterfall-shot. 13:24:00 and the next minute or two is not bad either. If you prefer click the dots on the map, find the dot that says "17 timer og 25 minutter" and play around from there.

Click around anywhere between that date and 10 to 18 o'clock, and not much can go wrong, as it's all fjords.

2. De Syv Søstre (The Seven Sisters, seven mountainpeaks in the midnight sun): Sun Jun 19 03:30:00 - 03:40:00 / "2 dager 7 timer og 50 minutter"-ish. Zoom in on the map around the white dot named "Sandnessjøen", a bit south of there.

3. Lofotveggen (Jagged mountains rising up from the ocean, creates a "wall" of rock from the sea below). Try around Sun Jun 19 17:35:00 and on / "2 dager 21 timer og 55 minutter".

Also, what I expect will be one of the best parts, is Trollfjorden (The Troll Fjord), is due around Sun Jun 19 23:30:00 cet.

It seems to vary... they have cruises up to 12 days in length. Lots of info on their website:

Hurtigruten - cruise the magnificent fjords of Norway - hurtigruten.com

I can't see your link. It should have been centered and bolded.

This thread reminds me of Bjergen Kjergen, from Kneurgen, near the Joergen Fjords.
