I am being bad-mouthed on a fan boy web site

On of the Rickenbacker fan boy web sites has a facebook page and they are trashing me there.

I wrote a message to "MW" asking him why he is saying bad things about me there. He seemed to think it was OK because I got kicked off of their web site.

All in all I guess being bad-mouthed by people like that is a badge of honor. It proves I don't drink the kool-aid and I am willing to say the emperor has no clothes.

oh well life goes on ...

You have no control over what other people say or do. Don't worry about it and move on.

Honestly, you should just ignore it. I mean for crying out loud they would probably NEVER engage in such behavior if met face to face. Typical internet ****ery if you ask me.

One of the other TBers has a great signature that says it all,
"I don't care what other people think of me. It's none of my business."

What do you expect from those guys. I would wear it as a badge of honor myself.

The root of my problem is I sold this bass here on ebay ---

http://www.3dentourage.com/425/red-ric.htm

It is the same bass they use on their web site here ...

Well I didn't know they have an unwritten code that basses like that should only be sold to those in the inner circle I sold it to someone not in their inner circle. Well after that every time I would post there were certain members that would post hateful things about me. Finally they kicked me out and even changed the rules about who can see things on their for sale page.

That was all years ago and they are still trashing me.

I think I understand some of the hate for Rickenbacker basses and for the company and even for Rickenbacker owners.

I am trying to live above all of that. I like the instruments. I don't like the drama. I guess that is why I am here, because there is more discussion and less drama.

I would find it hilarious if it were me. 'Sorry guys, but I graduated high school years ago. Y'all can continue your little Ric clique without me '
