She might be the boss at home, She might have the most beautiful bass But I got a promotion at work and I am now her boss.
Kind of feel weird to be my wife boss!!

I wonder how that will work. It's been only a been a week but everything is perfect so far.

I've got about 70 persons to take care of.
It's a lot of work but I really like it.

I think I know how you feel. Kind of like going from kid to adult over night as you go from 17 to 18 right?

The illusion of control here is funny.

It's cool as long as you can keep business, and personal life separate. Otherwise you'll be having a lot of argument at work, and at home.

I wonder if the biggest challenge won't be trying to prevent the other workers from thinking she's getting preferential treatment while at the same time trying to avoid being too hard on her to avoid that perception.

I don't envy you.

Dude, you ever hear the story of Samson and Delilah?

You will NEVER be your wifes boss.

Congrats on the promotion though.

I agree. In my company, being a relative's boss is forbidden!

Yeah. If this is a corporate situation I'm surprised it would be allowed, considering the conflict of interests inherent in it.

Since it's apparently not, I'd be as much concerned about the other employees' morale as your wife's, considering there undoubtedly will be talk of preferential treatment.

Holy cow, that's a tough situation. I would NOT want to have to deal with that.

One of you needs to find a new job. Seriously.

About 70% of the times she is not with me.
But when she is, we do our best not to give any chances to anyone to think she might have any preferential treatment.
In fact she is the one doing the worst job because of that.
But it's alright with her. She like working hard.
And before I accept the job, we talked about it. Also, if I do a mistake she won't cover me. She will like she did with any other boss. I think it's normal and I accept that also.

You know, if you're both on break, she can walk into your office and close the door and say in a low, sexy voice, 'you called boss?' It really might not be all that bad

Congratulations, Yvon. I'm sure it will work out.

Do I smell a new, more beautiful looking bass?
