Yep. Walking into the kitchen late at night. It was dark. And I ran my pinky toe into the corner of the wall. I never knew something so small could cause so much pain.

First week wasn't great, but it settled down fairly quickly, took about 5 or 6 weeks for the pain to go completelly.
There isn't much they can do for one, unless it's badly broken and needs splinted to another toe. Worth getting checked out incase it's a spiral fracture (why, I couldn't tell you, but the nurse that looked at it told me that is the only thing they need to try and make sure it aint).

| Sadly, it is the yeast in beers, especially non-filtered ones, that contain purines, which are often not good for an old codger (age 59) like me with apparent elevated uric acid levels. I have two nice ~yeasty~ Orval's in my fridge. They will probably not survive this weekend. The temptation will eventually win out. |
