i burned my cheese sauce. what do i do with the macaroni now?

i was making some mac & cheese from scratch and got a phone call at the wrong time ended up burning my cheese sauce.

i am now sitting here with macaroni and no cheese to start over on the sauce.


any suggestions?

Butter and macaroni is pretty good. I've even done Hot Sauce & Macaroni.

You could make a sauce with oil and any other ingredient (some kind of citrus, vinegar, etc..).

cold mac salad is awesome too.. little mayo, diced celery, diced red bell pepper, splash of milk, salt and pepper, and let it chill yo..

Can of tomatoes and make some sauce, add fried bacon/cut sausage/ beef mince, add chilli and herbs, top with cheese.

Well, my contingency plan would be to go with something tomato sauce based and wing it.

ok, i put olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, basil, bay, oregano, rosemary, diced tomato, and sea salt to taste.

looks like my dinner is a heck of a lot healthier than i originally planned.
