I spend a lot of time looking around on the TB classifieds, craigslist, ebay, Guitar Center's used gear site, etc looking at basses, amps, guitars, keyboards, you name it.
And yet, I don't have any money burning a hole in my pocket. I can't remember the last time I had more than $50 that didn't already have a place to go. Between rent, transportation, food, my phone, etc I'm lucky to have any money left over to spend on stuff I want.
To make things worse, they're shutting down my department at work and I'm going to be on unemployment until I can find a new job. So now just paying rent will be almost my entire paycheck.
So why do I go around looking at things I'd like to buy? I honestly have no idea.

That's the best excuse I can think of

1) Buy a bunch of things you don't really need.
2) Consume as much as possible, despite the reality of the situation being that you probably shouldn't.
3) Attempting to relieve the stress of your situation by consuming.
Or something. I'ma go eat a sandwich. |

| | | | It's actually a good way to do some research in lieu of having spending cash. I've narrowed down the gear I really want, so when (or if) I get some cash "burning a hole in my pocket," I'll know exactly what to get! |

| | | | I love window shopping. Love seeing what's out there and love trying differant things. I'll even admit that most times I go into a music store I always manage to find at least one bass I wouldn't mind buying.
But buying another bass or amp would be a stupid move for me. Barely have the time to play what I already own.
