In fact, it almost makes up for the fact that it tastes like it was brewed in a public ashtray.

I do order it now and then purely for the fact that it makes me look like I know something about beer. Then I bust out this half a$$ Irish accent and complain about how Guiness is much better in the motherland, but this iteration will do.

| | Monster Mike | | | | | I'm a fan. It's a great relaxation after work without worrying about getting tipsy beer. Tastes good, fills me up a bit, and makes me feel at ease. I think it's just thick and flavorful enough that I have to take a little time to calm down and enjoy it, but it doesn't have some gimmicky or overly complex flavor that turns drinking into some kind of intellectual exercise.
Plus it's a stout that isn't too pricey. Always a winner in my book. |
