Rain does help to sustain life on the planet. Yeah we can build houses & roads& basses & stuff but, nature reminds us of our place...however limited in scope.

Saw on the news the other am, they were working OT to clear 20' deep snow drifts to open the road to Crater Lake!
Look on the bright side, it only rained 1/2 a day today.

Yeah, but Ill trade LA weather AND traffic for a BEAUTIFUL place to live, along with the chronic and awesome hirsute babes there.

That is very true! I just got back from a 10 day trip to LA and between the smog, traffic, sales tax and heat, I'd take Oregon City any day!

If you lived here, you would wish for nonstop rain or just plain cloudiness all summer. It's 95 - 102 degrees Fahrenheit every single day and the humidity is never below 50%. Wind speed: ZERO.

Standing in direct sunlight at 2:00 pm is like having boiling water dumped over you. You can actually feel your skin being irradiated by the light the moment you step into it - just like in cheesy vampire movies...

Have an on-topic pop song (a quality one, not cheesy junk).
