I finally got a job!

Sign in to disble this ad
I interviewed a week and a half ago for a position and was told I'd hear Friday. Didn't hear Friday, nor Monday, so I emailed Tuesday, and received a reply a little after noon today saying "we're finishing up, and we'll let you know our decision soon"

3:30, I got a call. I was made an offer to be a Customer Logistics Representative for MARS Snackfood USA in Hackettstown, NJ.

Couldn't be more excited! The pay is good, the benefits are amazing, and the environment is extremely comfortable for me.

I can't wait to start on 7/13.

Cool news, bro.

Customer Logistics Representative...is that a long phrase for "Dispatcher" ?? Not aiming to hurt any feelings, just trying to decipher the code.

Peace,
Greg

Largely order processing for customers and distributors, to make sure they have required levels of stock.

Not the most exciting thing in the world, but I've got my foot in the door of a great company!

Congrats!

How long were you looking? It must be great to be back in the working world again.

I have an interview coming up tomorrow morning.

Yup! I was living in Lake Mohawk at the time... it wasn't too far of a ride.

Congrats! I was hired on to work for Kmart doing cashier & customer service stuff this week. Pending any surprises, I have orientation Friday and I start working my normal shifts next week. It dovetailed perfectly with me getting laid off. My last day was yesterday. More hours for about the same money.

I'm immediately starting a new gear (i also want a new bed) fund & the "Cam wants a vacation" fund. Each will get between $20 & $50 per paycheck. I figure, start early so that i will be used to working with less.

Congrats on the job!!
