I interviewed a week and a half ago for a position and was told I'd hear Friday. Didn't hear Friday, nor Monday, so I emailed Tuesday, and received a reply a little after noon today saying "we're finishing up, and we'll let you know our decision soon"
3:30, I got a call. I was made an offer to be a Customer Logistics Representative for MARS Snackfood USA in Hackettstown, NJ.
Couldn't be more excited! The pay is good, the benefits are amazing, and the environment is extremely comfortable for me.
I can't wait to start on 7/13.

Pending any surprises, I have orientation Friday and I start working my normal shifts next week. It dovetailed perfectly with me getting laid off. My last day was yesterday. More hours for about the same money.
I'm immediately starting a new gear (i also want a new bed) fund & the "Cam wants a vacation" fund. Each will get between $20 & $50 per paycheck. I figure, start early so that i will be used to working with less.
Congrats on the job!!
