No, wait til you play volleyball with a bunch of non-sexy Asian chicks.

It is then when you realise that you're out of shape, and really need to make more friends.

LOL! Earlier this year I joined a soccer league where nearly all the players were about 20 to 30 years younger than me.

It was a lot of fun, though!

Ultimate Frisbee is great exercise. When I ran cross country in high school our coach would occassionally send us down to the football field and have us play for a few hours just to do something different. We had a blast and we got a great workout in all at the same time.

Unfortunately that was 25+ years ago. If I tried to play now I'd have a heart attack.

I'm in better shape than I was in high school with the running and biking I'm doing, although I'd suspect I'd suck at ultimate frisbee as I've always had worthless hand-eye coordination.

Youth group games are usually pretty taxing for me too. I work with the high school kids at my church, and I usually end up sweatier and more out of breath than any of them. Ulitimate Frisbee is a killer, and so is free-for-all dodgeball.

I got reminded how out of shape I was when I did the military reserves test a couple of weeks ago.. 2100 metres on the 12 min run

I did quite a bit of running last summer, but after that got sloppy and did very little cardiovascular exercise apart from weight training over the winter. What ever shape I was in a year ago, it's gone now I've since started a running program for the summer, and I'm hoping to lose the few extra pounds while at it, too.

I'm not out of shape - round [i]is/i] a shape.

4 years ago, I was a finely tuned athlete. I traded it in for 30 lbs. of fat around my middle and diminished lung capacity.

Haha, that's an interesting coincidence, my church's youth group plays frisbee ALL the time (although it's usually either just passing the frisbee or 500- rarely ultimate), and we always end up inviting random people to play as they walk by.
