Great. Now that'll be in my head.

I do remember when a lot of people were really irked when the Nike "Revolution" ad first came out.

The whole "Talkin 'Bout My Generation" baby boomer thing is annoying. We, and I admit to being an Avart Guarde member of the age group but not the movement, have held our music (and films and even clothing styles) as the standard(s). The greatest events in our lives, including the fab-four, have been the cornerstones and verdant fields for the advertising agencies to harvest time and time again.

The comic book movies are in the theatres, the Cadillac Led Zeplin rip off, the ZZ Top Cool Sunglasses, etc. are all examples of how we are having trouble letting go.

The good news is that we are getting older and perhaps Gen X, Y and Z's music can step forward and take up there rightful places.

I can see how an ad agent would want to use that song for a feminine cleansing product.

You know, fresh smell.

I remember hearing that Michael Jackson owns all that music. If this is true, then we should hate him, not necessarily The Beatles, because they'd have to ask for his permission to use it.

I hate hearing any Beatles songs being used on commercials because it's some freaky pale guy who went and saw the plastic surgeon one too many times making money off of it rather than the people who actually wrote and performed the songs.

Of course, Cadillac has used Led Zeppelin.

Nissan has used songs by Ozzy Osbourne, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Stone Temple Pilots.

The music in the commercials doesn't really bother me. The only thing that bothers me is repetitive commercials, no matter what they are. I like the Led Zep in the Caddy commercial

He owned like half their music, and I don't think he owns it anymore. Don't quote me on that. I'll go do further research.

Damn. Tough crowd. As a whole, I really liked/like the Beatles; but don't care for a lot of their more popular "hits". Some of their more obscure album tracks were outstanding.

I thought their harmonies were good, as was their musicianship. Oh well, I guess that's why they have Coke AND Pepsi; Fender AND MusicMan; etc....
