Man, lately craigslist has sucking so much.

More than half of all the postings I click on for jobs and other stuff are spam and scams.

Anything I post up for sale more than half the emails I get are scams and people asking if there agent and could deposit the money into my accoutn sh!t. Its getting ridiculous.

Like this BS:Hello,
I am interested in the pruchase of your instrument
that is advertised on craigslist for sale.
As regards the condition of the instrument,i am ok with it and i think the price is reasonable, my mode
of payment would be by a certified check, and the check will bear the cost of the instrument plus shipping. The pick up would be arrange by
me because i have a reliable shipper that will be responsible for shipping so once you recieve the check you are to deduct the cost of the instrument and remaining funds will go to the shipping company via western union money transfer or money gramme.kindly let me know how much you will sell this item to me
last. if you are ok with this please send me the following
informations so that i can mail out the payment ASAP,
Full name:
Contact Phone number:
Address, city, state and zipcode to issue payment
Final asking price:

THey always ssay they are interested in my "instrument", and I'll reply asking what instrument and they just keep going. Its pissing me off. RANT OVER

Yep, it is getting bad. I had someone reply to an item I have for sale, and I was shocked that it was actually a real person who wanted to buy it that lived not too far from me and was willing to pay my asking price in cash. I almost didn't know what to do with that reply.

I find if you put "cash & local pickups only" in the ad, you get less scammers. You'll still get people trying to scam you no matter what you do though.
