With my own bad experiences as of late as an eBay seller + all of the recent threads about eBay's abysmal treatment of sellers and PayPal's ever-increasing fees and restrictions, I've been thinking about what my alternatives are. Does anyone have any experience selling and handling transactions with anything besides ebay and paypal?
I'm very interested in hearing about alternatives to either/both

There used to be these people who would roam neighborhoods, from domicile to domicile, requesting a chance to speak to me in regards to purchasing goods and services in exchange for federal currency.

Might be worth it for larger sales though, since in my experience banks charge flat rates for a given transfer amount rather than a percentage of it, though this practice probably varies wildly from bank to bank. |

I think you'll be pushed to find something that has the sheer number of things that ebay does!

I use CL and put in the add that I like cash but can accept CC's.

I like ebay and paypal for the ease of using them to buy and sell but if I can do Craiglist + a CC that would be ideal. I'm going to see if they have such a think for androids

I remember when my previous band was about to release an album I got it all set up on CDbaby, and I remember there being something about getting a cc machine so that people could buy merch with credit cards. The old school style, with the carbon copy paper slips!
edit - Nevermind, said person would have to be in your presence to make use of that...
