There I said it. I realize the benefits of exercising but I just can seem to bring myself to do it on a regular basis. Unfortunately my waistline is slowly outpacing my inseam.
Any advice would be appreciated. |

| | | | exercise! do an hour of cardio a day and you'll loose the weight. plus it's a great way to get some good critical listening in on songs you need to learn and/or improve on. never hurts to be in a gym where they have tv's on the cardio machines too. I listen to music, watch the game, and get my exercise in all at the same time! |

I dont like the first three and my wife has cut off the fourth,so I'm just gonna continue to swell up.

But it's true, apparently good sex can burn upwards of 500 calories or something. Who knew 30 seconds of fun could be so benificial.

However, I look at excercise as a required routine. You have to schedule it as an important thing to do during the day. I work out 5 days a week, sometimes 6, but it's common for people to do less than that and still have measurable results.
I ALWAYS listen to my iPod when exercising. It's a pleasant distraction. You can listen to music, podcasts, or even audio books. Adam Carolla's podcast is usually an hour, and by then I'm done with my workout.
If you can maintain a regular workout for a two week period, it gets easier because it is printed in the brain as a habit.

...well that and they won't let you smoke in a gym! Nazis! |

| | | | I used to never, ever exercise.
Then I tried boxing, because I rather like the sport, and now I find myself exercising without second thought. I want to be good in the sport, and to be good at it my cardio and strength have to be top notch.
I think finding a sport that you like may be the best bet.

And, exercise machines or treadmills-at home-for most of us? Fogetabaatit!

And walking, I guess.
I like those because I get to multi-task. I'm getting to point B while fending off obesity, type II diabetes and major joint problems.

play while you sweat
Well, that'd be cool if it worked okay, sweaty band practice etc burns a few.
Walks also work well. Limit the food intake, I have trouble so have less choice, so I run or bike or hike. Food eating habits changed little by little works well.
