yesterday i was sightseeing at a 2nd hand instruments website when i found this lovely looking acoustic guitar that i immediately fell in love with. she was in good condition, and on top of that, it only cost 40€!! of course i sent an e-mail right away to the guy. now, i sent him the e-mail only a few hours after he posted the ad. imagine my surprise when i go check my e-mail inbox today and find out he already sold it. damnit!! my only guitar at the moment has worse intonation than a slice of lemon pie, and i've been looking for another for sometime now. this guitar that fits all of my criteria show up, and now i missed it
for the record, it looked kinda like a Gibson L-5, but with a cutaway, adjustable bridge and truss rod at the neck heel, like a MM Stingray. the finish was a subtle honey-burst over what looked like a lovely maple top
has any one else been through this sort of this? guitars, basses, amps..heck, even furniture counts! i'm sure a lot of TB'ers know this feeling.
