Why are you writing an English paper in APA?
Anyway. My advice is to turn everything off, get whatever you need to keep you up during the night, and plow through it. No other way if you want to get it done for 8am and still write a decent paper. I've written many critical papers in the wee hours of the morning on the day they're due, mostly to excellent results. Just make yourself write it. Seriously. Slap yourself if you get off topic. And once you've read this, disconnect yourself from the internet. Physically unplug your modem, and then move to another room. |

I had a bad week last week... Quote:

I made an addendum to my original post, in any case. |

Watch that video, and then follow this man's advice while chuckling to yourself. |

Good luck.

got an A+ from the biggest arse of professor ever...he still failed me, but I don't feel like telling the story.

When you have a topic like yours, where there is an abundant amount of information available, it's very easy to put together. And APA is a lot easier to write in than MLA.
Considering it's also past due though ...
In the future, always keep the ERIC site handy: http://www.eric.ed.gov/
Most things you find on there will be able to be used on your source list. Much better than blindly googling.
If this paper was anywhere under 10 pages long, you should've been able to throw it together in less than 3 hours. Sleep on it, get up a half hour early, and proof read it. Compare it against the outline, and make sure you hit all the key points.
Submit and get the A.
That was basically how I lived through High School. I don't think I put any effort into a paper before the night before it was due. The only time I did was when it was on a book or article that we had to read and respond to. |
