...and I'm going to lose millions by telling all of you. Why are there no cars on the market that have a fuel door on each side of the vehicle?
No longer will I be forced to use 1/2 of the gas station's real estate! (without backing my car in)
I'm pretty sure my idea could be profitable. Someone get on it. |

You could pull up to either side of a pump and fill up. Those were also the days that the tank actually sat right behind the rear bumper. Modern tanks are located under the rear seat (so you can have a deeper trunk), and imo trying to rig up two filler necks so you could fill from either side would be a pain in the rear. |

I know that'd be problematic for wagon type vehicles, but in thos cases you are already changing the framework and sheet metal, so...
