I have gone off the deep end. I am completely hooked and I want everyone to know.
Oh by the way..... Its the show where a man and his robot friends make fun of cheesey movies in case you didn't know.

Great show. I've mentioned this a couple time, but MST3k was the inspiration for my friends and I to occasionally get together for a "bad movie party". Lotsa fun. |

And about the references....... some fly right over my head but one time Tom Servo referenced Tom Waits and I knew this was the show for me.

I've been watching MST3K so long as I can remember... most of the references flew way over my head when I was 5 years old but, in re-watching them, I'm getting more and more of them! |

There was something about Mike's joke delivery / demeanor did not connect with me.

My brother went to the MST3K fan convention and he took tons of pictures of the cast and crew and a lot of the fans. There is a group photo of everyone who showed up dressed as Mr. B. Natural.
Remember him/her? ALWAYS REMEMBER TO CLEAN YOUR HORN, BUZZ!

Even though I think both of them are hilarious, I also liked Joel better than Mike - something about Joel's deadpan delivery.
But for most people it's just the opposite.

It would be nice if a cable station would pick it up and show the old episodes, there's a lot worse stuff in rotation on some of the cable networks. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
