Seriously, these kids nowadays don't know whats good for them.

I was at my friends house for Halloween, watching the game, it was nice to see that they had about 25 kids come by (there were 100's of us when i was growing up, but ok...)

No one wanted butterfinger... At the end of the day, all that was left was babyruth, butterfinger and few other chocolate bars...

Growing up, those are the candy bars you went after, what is wrong with society nowadays... Butterfinger is amazing!

You gave them a choice?!?!?!

I learned this lesson way back when I lived in my first house after college and kids started trick-or-treating at my door: NEVER LET THEM CHOOSE THEIR CANDY! You give them their candy.

And if they don't like it let them toilet paper your house. And then if they toilet paper your house you have carte blanche to rain all manner of whoopass on their punk heads.

Meh, it was a win for me, they got all the crappy candy because little ****s don't know any better and i got good candy. Still left with feeling of disappointment.

Incredible.

I've never bought a butterfinger but I have eaten plenty of them. They're not my favorite. I definitely don't like Baby Ruths though. So, I think you and I would have gotten along swimmingly. I'm all about the skittles, starbursts, sour crap, bottlecaps, spree, twizzlers, nerds, gobstopers, and tootsie pops though. Chocolate that I like is milky way, three musketeers, M&M's, snickers, and generally anything that doesn't mix salty peanut butter with chocolate. But with that said, I don't eat a lot of it. I don't dig it that much.

I like butterfinger's, but as an old man with lot's of gold crowns, I can't enjoy them anymore. That orange crispy stuff turns into super sticky cement and is a pain to get out of my teeth.

I don't care for the baby Ruth or Payday for that matter, but I love salty things in chocolate. Chili pepper is really good in chocolate too.

I betcha chocolate covered flamin hot cheeto's would be awesome!!!! I gotta look into that!

Next time just get a bunch of black licorice and just throw it in their bags before they have time to see it, and campaign for all your neighbors to do the same.

Chocolate, chili peppers and cheeze? Might be something to it.

Or maybe a chocolate dipped jalapeno?

I despise Halloween, only slightly more than I loathe New Years Eve. If I can't find a way to have my whole family not be home on Halloween, at least I try and have something to do that keeps me away and let the wife deal with it.

At least we don't spend any $$ on it. My grandkids bring us candy throughout the year that they don't like or can't eat (chocolate allergy) and we keep it all in a big bucket and that's what the trick or treaters get.

thought this was going to be the same rant I saw this morning from an old guitarist/high school buddy... the 'Justin Bieber singing toothbrush' he spotted at the pharmacy set him off.

Philly cream cheese stuffed jalapeno dipped in Hershies special dark. Yup, I'd try that.

The original formula Butterfingers were my favorite candy bar as a kid. When they changed to the dull brownish shellac they have now, I walked away. I get my peanut butter fix from a Whatchamacallit.

I don't see the problem, let the kids have whatever crap, eat awesome butterfingers yourself.

Win win.
