I have rollerblades!

Finally got round to buying myself a decent pair of rollerblades yesterday.

I used to be pretty good at it until I got a knee injury which wrote off any chance of me doing it.

Now I've got another pair, and they're great!

Anyone else 'blade?

While I am waiting, no, I fall down. Me on anything with wheels that straps to foot isn't a good mix.

Do we get pix of the chic full-upper-body cast in a couple of weeks?

I kid, I kid. Rollerblades are fun. I've put in a fair amount of time on them after I turned 50 and never had any problems.

I'm not that clumsy.

I'm planning to save myself a bit of money by going to uni on them instead of catching the bus.

Strictly quad roller-skates for me. I tried on a pair of inl*nes, but I didn't like them. Anyway I have to use quads, because we don't tolerate anything else in roller derby.

I want to see the 70's moustache, helmet hair, and knee high ring color socks if roller derby is involved.

You are quite the soothsayer I predict.

That or "How do I clean the sickness from the inside of my rollerblade boot?"
