I was at my laptop at work a little while ago (yes, I was actually working at the time) and in my peripheral vision I notice a small dark blob waving around. I looked up and there's a spider hanging a few inches from the side of my face.
Thankfully my wife is so terrified of any insect that I'm used to responding quickly to kill them just to stop her from shrieking. I reacted like i usually do, quickly grabbed a tissue, and squished it. It happened so fast I didn't have time to see what kind it was but it was about the size of a finger nail across (legs, not just the body). If I took a second to think about it before killing it I might have gotten the willies, hee bee gee bees (sp?), etc. and made a noise that seriously embarrassed myself in front of my co-workers. Glad THAT didn't happen.
What a way to welcome me back to work after being on vacation last week ....

Ugly little bastard, was the size of a quarter, but it's head was bigger than than it's body and had feelers on the front of it instead of a fourth pair of legs. Made a good mess when I squished it too. |

Whey? Sour. Very sour. You can make a very healthy lemonade out of it with lemonade mix, but it's very different tasting. |

They were funny the first 20,000 times I heard them but even though I haven't heard them in about 20 years they're still kind of worn out from the overexposure they got way back then.
Having said that, I'm kind of laughing to myself over "... Rover took over! He gave her a bone of his own..."?
