and you all let this place fall apart without me being able to take part in any of the fun.
Just kidding.
I got an ingrown toenail that squirted puss five days into my hike. got home last night and got it taken care of this morning, and was debating about coming in here...
...but the draw of Talkbass is too much to resist. Like a black hole, you simply cannot escape.

Seriously though, how far did you have to walk on it?? Is there a trail of blood and puss 20 miles long??

Is there a trail of blood and puss 20 miles long?? | I walked about 68 miles. of course, a 46 to 50 pound pack (50 fully loaded with food and water) might've had something to do with it. I've lowered my load to around the mid 30's, so hopefully this should not happen again.
Also, to clear things up, it wasn't exactly and ingrown toenail. a callus had formed on the side of the nail, and it was digging into my flesh, which caused the discomfort and swelling.
Also, for those who want pics, here is a post-op (with Macro close up! )
