I love Mozilla Firefox!

Seriously, it's the best thing in the world. IE was jamming, not showing sites correctly and generally being a PITA. Upgrade to Firefox solved a lot of my problems.

It stops Javascript from running on your browser unless you specifically tell it to. Good for stopping annoying ads, popups and possible malicious background processes, among other things.

One thing to look at is the IE Tab add-on. It actually opens up a real IE tab inside FF (they look like and are positioned like FF tabs, but have an IE logo) for those sites that don't quite open correctly in FF (unfortunately, there are still a number).

I only use Explorer for one web-based application for work, because I have no choice. Firefox for everything else.

Good list. +1 to Adblock Plus, I love that add-on.

Not as far as I know. It doesn't interfere with Symantec Corporate Edition AV, if that's any help.

Morning Coffee add-on makes mornings fun! Keep up on your favorite webcomics, check Craigslist, new posts on TB, the news... good stuff.

Also, Yahoo Mail Notifier rocks. It checks your Yahoo mail account periodically and updates you if you get any email.

Almost as good as Safari, which I am enjoying more lately.
