I just got a $1400+ check from my college. My account had money left over, so they cut a check for the difference. That pays for my new cabs and avalon, and I should have enough for a decent P bass!
Talk about a Godsend... and I haven't even sold any of my old cabs yet. That will all go in pocket now instead of back into the credit card, haha.
Life is full of lots of bad surprises... but it's nice to get an occasional good one!

So, I was expecting this thread to be about a night club with a " no over 40's allowed" rule, or something  .
Even though I was completely wrong, it started me thinking that that would actually be quite a cool idea  !  Even though it means I'd never be allowed into another club.

[/THREAD_HIJACK] | We actually had one of those, I think it was K-40. The problem was, they played the crappy 80's disco music! It went down within a year, now there's a gay club instead - I think they bought the place so they don't have to shop for new cd's!
edit: No wait, I read the post wrong.. The club was banned from anyone under 40, not over. You have a problem of over-aged geezers hanging out at your favourite Usher-blasting disco or something?
