I need a house

Sign in to disble this ad
I have been searching for 2 weeks now. I have looked at over a thousand listings on line and gone through at least 2 dozen houses. Nothing in my price or the sellers won't work with my situation. Great credit, money for a down payment, everything ready to go. I put in 3 offers on houses and they were completely rejected. One house has been on the market and empty for 400 days and the seller would not budge on the price. ***!! I am at an end. I need a place to live by Saturday and I cannot find one.

Closing on a house generally takes more than 4 days. You need to find a rental.

I just closed on a house in Colorado last month after looking for 6 months and over 70 homes. There is zero chance you are going to be able to buy a residence and move in by this weekend!

Although I don't have any experience about the north american real estate market, I have to agree on this. I cannot imagine one buying a house in that short time. It took me roughly 1 year to find an apartment I wanted to put my money on.

I don't see any other possibility than to rent. Then you can take your time to find a nice house.

defintely better to rent for a few months while you have the time to really find a house that is a good investment. you go jumping into it and you might land in pile of flies.
