I need some help with Wordpress.

I've got a weird problem, and since nobody over at the Wordpress forums ever attempt to answer my questions, I figured I'd try here.

I'm using the K2 theme, and as I was figuring out how to tweak the thing I uploaded several header image files that I'm no longer wanting to use. I deleted them out of the uploads folder, but the file name still shows up in the header image dropdown menu on the dashboard. I've since uploaded a few images that I want to display at random, but when I select random in that same dropdown menu, my page keeps looking for the files that are no longer there. So I occasionally get the header images I want, but it also randomly displays a blank header.

I figure I need to clear that dropdown menu of unused file names, but I can't figure out how to do it. Anybody got an idea?

You may have to open the code and look for the bit that contains that list, and edit it that way. Tedious but effective. Wordpress code is not difficult to decipher, but there is a lot of it to dig through.

Yeah, I could - but there's about a hundred pages of code. I don't know where to begin to look.

Ok - I did a search through all 630 documents of code. The deleted file names simply are NOT there. What gives?

I've done that too. No go. I'm going to try to delete the entire thing off my server and upload my backup and see what happens.
