I am looking to find a way to walk for the next 3 months, while my foot/ankle is healing. I need to put something together that will attach around the knee, and support my full weight without putting any weight on my foot. I've been knocking around a few ideas, but I need some good inspiration from the brains at TB.

(just behind my toes) My foot was fully supported in my ski boot and I felt no pain. To make a long story short, I ended up adding 4 months on to my recovery and a hard cast............to boot...............no pun intended I couldn't believe what the Xrays looked like, after the break and then after skiing with the break
How did the surgery go?? Did they shave your boys??? |

So, who can find the link to the army prototype mobile armour suit fastest?

Basically, I am thinking of a PVC jacket that goes around my lower leg, and has foam lining to isolate my lower leg, and at the top of the apparatus, it has mountings to strap to my leg, above and below the knee. This is mostly just an experiment, and if it puts any strain or movement on my lower leg/ankle, it won't work. A normal boot setup will not work.

You'll be too busy itching and scratching in a few days to worry about your exoskeleton device |

I'm not looking to run in this thing, pretty much be able to walk with minimal crutch use.

I'd still worry about tweaking your knee, if not the ligaments; the patellar tendon unless you design around it. That said, I must add that have absolutely no training in this area.
