I need someone good with photoshop to help me out

Sign in to disble this ad
So I went to NAMM a few weeks back, and took a pic with the bass player of one of my favorite bands. Turns out I blinked. haha. Is there a way that someone really good with photoshop can use a pic with my eyes open and edit the one with me blinking? Is this even possible.

Thanks in advance.

yea it's possible. you'll need to open both images in Ph shop. Proportion them so theyre near the same size or control T to "take" that portion ofthe image; resize proportion by dragging the corner.
use your magic wand select tool or just your wand & select one eye. hit control T. right click, copy & paste over to the blinked eye.
do the same fo r the other eye. if there are portions that aren't perfect
use heal tool or clone stamp tool to patch up imperfections.

badda bing!

Why not keep the memory of blinking while you took a pic of the bas player of one of your favorite bands? Real memories are better than fake ones.

To the cloud......for the picture mother nature couldn't give you.

This is also a disguised attempt to learn how to PS something so he can put his head on someone else's body in a NAMM pic he is lying about to his friends.

Is not! haha. I have many pics from NAMM, and it is totally me. I have

I would absolutely love to learn how to do photoshop, but the price is a little up there for me for it.

GIMP is your alternative. 2.6 is the newest version I believe.

Free, free, free.

I've heard of that. I will have to check it out. Any good sites that help explain how to use it? I'm sure a lot of practice with it is the best though.

thanks!

Open your favorite browser, type GIMP along with what you are trying to do. Example: GIMP create 3d icon.

A buttload of tutorials will open before you. Some with video.

If you still want someone else to do it, I might be able to give it a try. I need something to practice my photoshopping skills on, as I haven't had much of a reason to lately. If not, you can try it yourself. Gimp works very well after you have a little bit of practice with it.

Please give it a shot. I'm trying to figure GIMP out, but without much luck.

Well this is the best I could do right now. It was kinda hard to get it to look right since I ended up having to work with a pixel at a time. Couldn't seem to get them all to fit and smudge properly. I think the left side eye still looks weird. Tell me if it needs any fixing and maybe I can clean it up tomorrow.

Here's my effort - looks like you've done a few to many shots and bit too much botox!

The big problem (for me at least!) was your face/eyes between the pics have quite a different angle so the lighting is quite different.

It might be easier to try and stage a similar angled shot to the one you're in with your eyes closed and go from there. Alternatively, you were there, the photo proves that, so who gives a s-aitch-one-tee that your eyes are closed!
