Look at that explosion! I doubt it's fireworks. Fireworks do not blow off legs or create that big a radius.

well, i've itterated twice now all i had to go off of was the first impressions i was given by cnn's lax reporting. its obviously not the case now as some actual reporting and pictures are available.

Bizzare and horrible. My thoughts are with those who are effected by this. Of course it was a terrorist attack. Who else sets off bombs at a public gathering other than a terrorist? The question is who did it and why.

Theres some talking heads at CNN that suggested this might have been "an infrastructure malfunction; possibly escaping steam or elecrtrical box"
