It's like Guitar Hero but to Christian rock instead of secular rock. I've never played it so I don't know if it's as good or not.

Lame. They could have at least picked a few cool songs from the rare, decent christian bands (MXPX, Zao, Dogwood, etc)

Seriously; Zao, Underoath, Haste the Day, Still Remains, MXPX, August Burns Red, Comeback Kid (when they were)

Ive only named a few, but any one of those would have been way better. Relient K is good.. but most of those were meh.

Who the heck cares if someone chooses to play a Christian rock version of Guitar hero?

What's the problem? Nobody is forcing you to play it. Just because it's spiritually driven music makes it wrong?

I might play it if they had a better song selection, but then again, I own a bunch of the GH games, and I play rock band with my best friend and his fiance every once in a while.

Impressionable young minds + propaganda = indoctrination.

I'm not worried for myself, just saddened for those exposed.

Why do you feel the need to speak (feel saddened) for others? Just because it doesn't represent your view doesn't make it wrong. And how the heck do you know people are being forced to play it and thereby be indoctrinated? That's a very bigoted view of religious people.

The game is aimed towards children. They may not be "forced" to play it but likely will not have evolved the necessary skills to conprehend the propaganda the game includes.

I would imagine this is how others would feel about some of the more "controversial" games like the Grand Theft Auto series. The messages being sent by either game are inappropriate IMO for younger children.

And you think the sex, drugs, and rock and roll images and messages in a lot of the regular Guitar Hero game is quite ok? Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

I don't understand why anything spiritual is propaganda to you. Have you listened to any of that music at all? I think it's awfully pretentious of you to arbitrarily decide what is detrimental to young minds. I'd much rather have this music in my kids ears than the MTV era music.

+1

Would it kill them to put in As I Lay Dying or Maylene & The Sons Of Disaster?

My favorite Christian band of all time is Ace Troubleshooter, R.I.P.
