| | | | Ouch, almost feel your pain.
A couple of weeks ago, I had the Peavey TNT combo in the trunk of my Chrysler Concorde, tried to grab it out, and somehow it slid and smashed my left middle finger between it and the latch. I thought it was broken for a second, but thankfully I was able to complete the gig. I never bruise easily, and I had a decent bruise through and between the two knuckles on that finger. |

I did THIS a little over 2 weeks ago, and am just now getting some movement back in the last knuckle, and just tonight was able to get a bit of blood from under one of the nails.

HARD. That's what he gets for asking a bassist to pack his crap away! |

Seriously, its every bassist's worst nightmare.
I remember back in 1986, I was removing a lathe head from
a lathe and the sucker fell down and whacked my right middle
finger. Must weighed 50 lbs for sure.
I had a gig that night, so I had the walk-in ER guy tape my index to the splint he put on the middle finger and tape a pick to the whole business. I got through it but it wasn't one of my finer shows.
