I Think I Know how Women Feel.

I was watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and what struck me was just how much full frontal nudity the male lead had in that movie. It didn't take long before I was feeling a little uncomfortable with his schlong bouncing around in a few scenes, especially when it would have been quite rational for the character to have dressed himself instead of staying nude for so long.

I guess I see even more clearly what women are talking about when they criticize gratuitious nudity.

Definitely. Of course, from a visual standpoint, there's something more symmetrical about a nude woman, to me. Not that a male body can't be beautiful in its own right, but male genitals kind of look 'out of place' on the body compared to a woman's, as in 'whoa how did that get there'. Of course, I"m a biased hetero male, so who knows. I'd vote for not seeing anyone's junk in a movie, just to be fair.

If depictions of massive male members is offensive to you, do not open this link!

Edit - Link removed. There's not reason to post this. ~Mod.

For those who don't know, priapism, the condition of excessively long erections, is named after him.

Two big differences Doc.

First, women CAN appreciate the naked female form while the vast majority of straight men don't. That's not to say that gratuitous nudity isn't annoying to women, but doesn't prompt as much of a reaction as men with gratuitous male nudity.

Secondly, male nudity in films is almost always for humor (Sarah Marshall, Borat & Bruno) or shock value (Equus, Crying Game). I can't think of any instance where it is included for sex appeal.

And I think that's the biggest difference. Simply put, men enjoy seeing nude women a LOT more than women enjoy seeing nude men.

At least that's what the police officer told me while explaining the restraining order my neighbor took out on me.

Sounds a little more painful than simply havin a big wiener. Also, it was a cold day when David posed for that statue. I tried to tell him......

That treatment does sound rough.

I didn't feel uncomfortable when I saw a wang on screen. I laughed a lot when I heard it hit his legs.

Then again I used to do 'gay burglaries' into my friend's dorms. Basically you get naked and steal their stuff and lets face it, no one wants to tackle a naked guy.

That is criminally ingenious.

I actually enjoy it a lot because it makes me crack up. In Bruno I was damn near crying. But hey I'm comfortable with myself so maybe that's why. Gay burglaries sound like a good idea, too bad I don't live in the dorms anymore!
