I think I may be a lot more stupid than I had previously thought.

So this girl gave me her number last week. We had really hit it off, both flirting heavily with each other, etc. etc. So, a few days ago, I sent her a text message asking if she wanted to go out for coffee. No response. I waited 3 days, heard nothing, and thought I'd give it one last try. Nothing. She was totally flaking out on me.

Finally, I eventually get a text back agreeing to a coffee date on Saturday. Awesome! This will be great!

Fast forward about 2 hours. I happen to see her in the dining hall, and as we're parting ways, I say "alright, see you Saturday."

"Why? What's on Saturday?"

"We're going to have coffee, aren't we?"

"We are?"

"Yeah, you just sent me a text message about it a few hours ago..."

"...No I didn't..."

It was around this time we realized something was amiss. So, we opened my phone to take a look. Turns out I had mixed up the order of a few digits in her phone number. So, apparently I've been talking to a complete stranger, and I'm supposed to meet him/her tomorrow for coffee.

Sometimes I wonder how I ever got into college.

From the title I thought maybe you were one of those people who signed up for all of that ARM crap and are now trying to make the payments on a house you can't afford.

From the body of the post I think that you may actually be on to something there. Just start texting people at random and inviting them "out for coffee", if they respond and are female, you may have just scored.

When you get a chicks number youre not supposed to TEXT them, at least not until youve spoken on the phone with them first! Imagine had you not run into her and met up with this random person for coffee, though it would be entertaining!
