I took off my watch without actually taking off my watch

So, this morning, I wake up, shower, etc.

But then, I instinctively look down at my wrist and see an area of un-tanned skin in the shape of a watch, and that is when I realize: I am not wearing my watch. It's one of those Timex digital ones that is the funny oval shape with the narrow black band. I rarely take it off, because if I do, I know that I wont put it back on again.

Anyways, this brought about a surge of thoughts: where is my watch? how did it get off? was someone in my room? did they take my watch off of me to mess with me? What else happened?

In the course of this surge of paranoia, I remembered distinctly checking what time it was when I got in last night, so I didn't take it off before I went to bed. So that rules out me losing it in that cemetery, or the park, or someone's car. But it's okay now because I found it on my kitchen counter...and I have no idea how it got there. HOWERVER, the disconcerting fact remains that, somehow, someway, my watch was removed from my wrist, WITHOUT ME ACTUALLY DOING IT!

TL;DR how did my watch get on the kitchen counter when I went to sleep wearing it.
Also ITT: Stuff like this that happens to you.

Yep, he figures he'd brag about it in a fassa'riffic way by making up some mundane story about his watch.

The only reason why people go into cemeteries is to bury dead relatives, tip over headstones, and act cool with your goth friends as you drink box wine, write poetry, and lament how your upper middle class suburbanite parents don't get you or your love for your vampiric overlord.

It would have been much better if you were downtown, had forgotten where you've
parked, only to realize you didn't own a car in the first place.

Playing 'make-believe' never really ends... you just change the rules of the game as you get older.

FAIL.

Step away from the computer. Go get some air. Spend a fiver and buy a clue. Get laid. Something. Just stop these inane threads. Or, is this building up to yet another in your plethora of MS Paint pictures?
