I've been lurking here, off and on for about a year now and I've got to say I've learned a lot about a whole lot of bass related issues, gear, and band issues and management, as well as other assorted errata. Things like what a Lakland is, who Accugrove is and what do they do, how well a Fender sits in the mix and on and on.
That said I'd like to point out the medical benefits of being here. See I had this sinus infection from hell. It would fade out then come back, it attacked virtually every system I have, and opened the door to every small cold it could find. Truly a dastardly thing.
So one night I'm feeling sorry for myself and while having a few wobbly pops started reading the humour section here on TB, well first I'm grinning , then chuckling, then laughing uncontrollably to the point of wheezing. After a while I couldn't even see the screen anymore and had to stop. It was the silly gigs you've played section I think
So what are the benefits you ask, well the next day I had a clearing house sale on all the built up stuff in the sinus, the lungs and elsewhere. Apparently all that uncontrolled laughter shook everything loose and I felt a thousand times better.
So I'd like to thank you all for sharing your knowledge, your humour, and your honesty, whether we agreed or not, on more than one occasion the TB diaspora has made my day. Honestly Thank You all
