ideas for a "water pressure" project?

Sign in to disble this ad
Not too sure how to call it, but my girlfriend's sister needs a good idea for her project. Basically she needs to come up with something original using the pressure of water. An example could be making a street and the car is being pushed by the pressure of the water.

any original ideas?

Before anyone can answer this, I think the most important questions are:

Grade level?

Does she actually have to complete/build this project?

What grade level are we talking here? High school? Collage? University?

Whatever it is, it should involve a douche as the water pressure delivery mechanism.

Can be anything I suppose. My girlfriend remembers doing a dentist coming in a room and then the chair lifting

consider legitimate hydroponics (legally applied). I'd recommend a drip system or an ebb and flow system. water pressure and gravity apply. she might get hooked for life once she sees how well it can work. http://www.simplyhydro.com/system.htm

It's implied (not stated) but i suggest a 100% custom design. yes, any design will be one of the six types cited at the link above, but it can still be 100% custom, and it does not have to be expensive. I like practical (and spectacular), and hydroponics delivers.

Currently have 50 gallons of hydroponics (two systems) at my lady friend's place, and she's ecstatic at how well everything is doing. i'll be launching another 30-gallon system this coming weekend. Zucchini, tomatoes (legit), parsley, beans, peas, peppers, chives, radishes, onions, eggplant, much more. another source for ideas might be www.hydroponics.net . go custom, but don't use containers that once held gasoline (should be obvious, but one cannot assume). good luck, whatever the student in your life chooses.

the most common one i can think of would involve a little lifting and expense but the process by which old john crapper uses water reaching its level to force waste down could be demonstrated
