Same with the dude who hits a ball with a stick
or kicks a ball through a couple of poles.
It's only a game.
I really don't see an issue with PED's.
never did.
Our Government is giving our Soliders Stimulants (Adderall, Ritilan)
- basically amphetamines - to increase their ability to kill people.
They are in essence "cheating" at their game of War.... ain't they?
I don't have a problem with Lance or what he did, I say leave the guy alone.
Unfortunately, in todays society, people feel better about themselves when they
are able to point out someone else's faults or mistakes. |

never did. <snip>
| the issue, as usual, is money.

Considering sports don't tend to be life-or-death, I don't see the analogy with soldiers being entirely releveant.

3 weeks - 6 months, what's the difference?
It's all about the $$$$. Let the lawyers litigate. |

I say anything that helps to achieve that goal is fair game. |

It's all about the $$$$. Let the lawyers litigate. | Yes, and Hamilton got awfully truthful during his 8 year suspension. Actually, most cyclists serve 1-2 years. Baseball only seems to dish out 3 week suspensions. |

I say anything that helps to achieve that goal is fair game. | The aim is to win within the ruleset of the game. You can't start playing a Pawn like a Queen just because you want to win .

Seems weird to me.

I say anything that helps to achieve that goal is fair game. | No, by definition all competitive sports have rules. When you break those rules it's called cheating and cheating is most certainly not "fair game".

But you're not really trying to sell the argument that because 90% are doing it it's right are you? It's still cheating and lessens the achievement.

Some sad irony is that during one of the 60 Minutes stories this fall, there were testosterone commercials. We bash abuse but condone use. Man, the world if eff'd. |
